Ingredients: 2 tablespoons magarine, 1000 grams pastry strips (6 pieces), 2 glass milk, 3 eggs.

Ingredients for the filling: 5 table-spoons magarine, 4 onions, 700 grams minced meat, 1/2 tablespoon salt, 1/2 tablesoon black pepper.

Method: To make the filling, melt the margarine in a pan, chop the minced meat till fine; add to the pan and fry. Stir the onions in the pan with the minced meat; add salt, black pepper and mix. When the minced meat is ready remove from heat and let it cool. Melt the 2 tablespoons margarine in a pan and then mix it with the eggs and milk in a bowl. Grease a baking tray (about 4 cm deep), place a pastry strip on it and pour the milk mixture over it. Cover this with one more pastry strip. Then add the minced meat and place the last pastry strip on top of the minced meat. Fold the pastry strips which are longer than the tray on top of the Börek. Bake the Börek in an oven at 200 degrees centigrade for about 20 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
